A variety of Monorail fares are available dependent upon the many uses and needs of our customers. Below is a complete listing of single trip fare options, day pass leisure and tourist fare options plus regular commuter fare options.
Single trips
Single trips are a quick and easy way for locals wanting to travel between the city and Darling Harbour. Alternatively, they offer a must-do experience for domestic and international visitors looking for unrivalled views of Sydney’s dynamic tourist precincts.

SINGLE TRIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Concession fares are valid for holders of a Pensioner Concession Card (for aged pensioners), a NSW Senior Card or NSW War Widow/ers Concession Card
- There are no student concession fares
Day Passes
Monorail Day Passes package unlimited day travel plus discounts at Sydney’s best attractions.
Day Passes are available for one or three day travel and as single or family fares. You can also choose between a Monorail Day Passes or a combined Monorail and Metro Light Rail Day Pass option.

DAY PASS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

- There are no student concession fares

Monorail Smart – regular commuter card
Regular Monorail commuters can enjoy discounted travel between Pyrmont/Darling Harbour/Ultimo and the city for only $3.30 with a Monorail Smart ‘touch & go’ card.
Monorail Smart is smart ticket technology that saves time and also offers significant discounts for regular Monorail passengers.
